Benefits
The advantage of using the Sure-Fi Analog Kit is that it allows for control of industrial systems over distances and in locations where running wires would be impractical, costly, or physically impossible.
Description
Description:
A wireless bridge that enables wireless communication between two industrial devices that normally communicate through a wired connection using analog current loop or voltage loop. Analog signals are continuously variable signals as opposed to digital signals which are discrete or non-continuous. These signals might be used to represent temperatures or pressure levels.
The wireless analog bridge comprises two Sure-Fi Units, a Sensor Interface and a Receiver Interface. In operation, when the output current/voltage values sent by a sensor or similar device changes, the Sure-Fi unit receives these as inputs and sends these values wirelessly to the other Sure-Fi unit which sets its output current/voltage values to match. This replicates the values as if a direct wired connection existed between the two devices. The wireless communication eliminates the need for physical wiring between the two devices.
